Here’s a super cute card made by LilyPink Designs herself with her adorable new bug!  How fun would it be to drive a car like that?! This car totally reminds me of the little badges that tell you how many “new items” you have.

Stock Spotlight Saturday – Twine

Stock Spotlight Saturday – Twine

Welcome to a NEW weekly event on the C.Y.D.I? blog – Stock Spotlight Saturday.  Each Saturday, we will spotlight one stock item.  Today, we begin with one of my FAVORITE products… TWINE!

First of all, does your twine look like this????

Friends don’t let friends have jumbled twine!  Let the C.Y.D.I? Lucky 7 Spools help with your twine debacle!

Our twine is from The Twinery, and is carefully wrapped on an adorable wooden spool with a label, so you can readily see what color of twine is in your drawer.  Already have twine, just need to “fix” it? No problem! We also have empty spools that will fit approximately 7 yards of twine on each spool HERE in the store.

If you haven’t used twine before, let me warn you – it’s addictive!

Our I Want It All twine bundle comes with a case to store it all, and an added bonus of  a sample of MayArts jute twine (actual product shown below).
Here is a super easy project I made with twine (Cappuccino, Caribbean, and Pink Sorbet), NEW paper from Green Goddess Creations, a Technique Tuesday sentiment on a label, inked edges, and some liquid pearls.  Yup, it’s THAT simple!
Here’s another twine wonder made by our Artist Coordinator, Hannah {the Fabulous}…

Have a little fun with the twine by adding to the adorable Dog Heart image’s heart.

And here is one from our DT Coordinator, Lelia {the Amazing}…she used Lemondrop, Caribbean and Mandarin.

Rush on over to  to the store because our artists have put TONS of products on sale!  Several of our Lucky 7 Spool combo packs are already on sale.  Additionally, for you, our faithful blog, Facebook, or twitter followers, here is a coupon for 15% off ALL non-digital items, to include the adorable TWINE spools in the store.  Use this coupon at checkout: CYDIGOC15

The sale/coupon ends Friday, January 27th when Michelle gets on the plane for CHA.  Make sure you are a C.Y.D.I? Twitter follower to get all the updates from CHA!

Link up your twine creations here… we’d LOVE to see them, and there may just be something special in it for ya (like maybe another coupon??)…

Grand Opening Blog Hop

Grand Opening Blog Hop

Welcome to the C.Y.D.I? Grand Opening Celebration Blog Hop!

Take a hop around our block and see some fabulous creations.  But first, let me introduce you to the 2012 Inaugural Design Team, better known as the..

IT GIRLS!!!!

Lelia, our Lead-IT Girl, whom you were introduced to HERE, created this adorable badge for our team:

Don’t forget to visit each of our ladies’ blogs to see what fun they have in store for us today.

Without further ado, I give you the 2012 Inaugural IT GIRLS…

The first lady we will explore is April O’Connor.

Here’s a little about April in her own words…

I am a Christian wife, mother, sister, volunteer, and general all-around nice person! I am known on SCS as aprilo and am fairly new to both stamping and blogging. I have scrapbooked for many, many years, but was just converted into being a stamper. Now, I can’t seem to get enough of it!
I love to cook and craft and frequently combine the two things!
I am pretty much a CAS kind of gal, but when I put my mind to it, I can layer and bling with the best of them!

Be sure to check out what’s going on at April’s Alley.

You have already met our next IT Girl, Dana Alley, HERE.

You can find all of Dana’s creations on the Crafte Who.

Our next designer comes to us from the Caribbean!  I have warned her that I may show up on her door step some day when the winter here in Chicago completely does me in.

Please welcome Patty Chalas to the team!

Here’s a little about Patty in her own words…

I’m 35 years old and live in Dominican Republic. I bought my first Rubber Stamp August of 1993 and I’ve been hooked ever since. I first started in paper-crafting by making cards and scrapbooking that friends and family eventually started asking to purchase from me. After a couple of years, I started making invitations, souvenirs, party and home decor and personalized notecards and items that eventually became my home business! I enjoy making cards, scrapbooking and various other paper crafted projects, however card-making is my first love. I love making handmade crafts and gifts for customers and always delight them with the latest techniques or new stuff on the market.

In the summer of 2009, I was giving the opportunity to work with Digis stamps as DT member ….. Nor the less I still play, create and love my Rubber Stamps those are my truly love!!
God has blessed me with a wonderful son who’s the light of my life and that encourages me to follow my dreams, every time he said “Mom that is so pretty” I love spending as much time with him as possible can. It’s a wonderful life and I’m so, so thankful.

You can see all of Patty’s fabulousness at Mis Ideas Y Creaciones {no, that’s not English}.

That wraps up our Inaugural IT Girls team, however, we have TWO very special Guest Designers who we are happy to welcome to the team….

The first is Jan Hannicutt!

Here’s a little about Jan in her own words…

I’m married to a wonderful man who supports and enables my paper craft addiction. We have two grade school age kids living at home and three adult children. We live in a small town in western Arizona along the Colorado River, both my husband and I have lived in the area most of our lives. I love all kinds of craft/home decor/renovation projects. I’ve been a card maker since 2004 and have discovered digital images and Copic markers in the last couple of years; I’m in paper crafters heaven!

For “work” I’m a volunteer for Operation Write Home who’s mission is:
Supporting our nation’s armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them.
I also volunteer as a design team coordinator for a paper crafting challenge blog and I’m a team member for a couple of other design teams. I’m very excited to be a guest designer for Can You Digi It!

You can see all the wonders that Jan creates at She’s gone digital.

Nancy Williams completes our team as our second guest designer.

Here’s a little about Nancy in her own words…

I am a ‘Bama girl, but my heart is still in New Mexico with the breath-taking sunsets and relaxed lifestyle. Actually, my sweet husband and two daughters have my heart and always will. I spent most of my life as a boring, type-A, task-oriented, left-brained Auditor.  Six years ago, my right brain busted free and a MONSTER was born.  I haven’t looked at the world the same since that awesome moment – I evaluate everything to see how it would work on a card.  I am currently working on a formula using dryer lint as an embellishment – seriously!

Check out What’s on My Kitchen Counter to see what Nancy has cooked up.

This IS a blog hop, after all, so hop on over to my blog – Caffeine & Stamps to get started on the hop.
